New Delhi: The central government has given a big gift to the central employees and pensioners. The government has announced to increase Dearness Allowance (DA). This announcement was made during the cabinet meeting. There was a discussion going on for a long time regarding the increase in dearness allowance. In the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an increase of 9.3% in dearness allowance. The government has decided to increase the DA from July 1, 2022. The increased DA allowance amount will be given to the employees along with the salary in the month of August.

Modi government increased DA / DR by 9.3 percent
At present, dearness allowance was being given to the employees at 34%. Central employees are very happy after this decision of the government. In media reports, there was talk of increasing dearness allowance by 4 or 5%, but the government has surprised everyone by deciding to increase the dearness allowance by 9.3%. After the decision of the government, about 40 lakh employees and officers of the Center will get its benefit.
