7th Pay Commission !! Good news before festivals, salary increase for employees of these states, now DA will get 148%

 With the current 4 percent increase in DA, Himachal Pradesh government employees will now get 148% DA.  Earlier, the state government had increased the inflation rate of its employees by 4%, which was in force from July 1, 2018.  After that increase, the DA rate rose 144%. On the other hand, central government employees are still waiting for the DA hike from July 2019, which can be up to around 5%.  Now, it is expected that the center will make an announcement in this month.

 Haryana State Electricity Board has increased 4 percent DA for its 18,000 employees, who will also get DA arrears from January to July.  Significantly, Himachal Pradesh has about 2.5 lakh state employees.  According to the report, DA has also been notified for other state government employees.  As per reports, the State Electricity Board has said that the arrears of the employees of the month of August will be added to the salary for the month of September. However, pensioners will have to wait for the notification of the state government to give a lump sum of DA dues for six months.  Explain that Himachal Pradesh follows the recommendations of Punjab Pay Commission.
