@All Employees News,

 7th Pay Commission Latest News: Central government employees can get good news before Diwali.  In fact, the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi may announce an increase of 5 per cent in dearness allowance for employees of Steel Authority of India SAIL.  For this, SAIL officials wrote a letter to Labor and Employment Minister Santosh Gangwar demanding a 5 percent increase in DA, which the government can complete before Diwali.

 According to the information, if the demand of SAIL officials gets the approval of the central government, then the salary of officers of SAIL officer grade will be increased by five thousand rupees per month.  According to sources, the Steel Authority of India SAIL has demanded an increase in the DA to its officer grade employees from next month i.e. from 1 October 2019.  If the Modi government meets SAIL's demand, the DA of the employees will increase from 57.4% to 62.4%.

 Let us tell you that just like the bank employees, DA of the public sector undertaking (PSU) employees also increases quarterly.  On the other hand, employees of Steel Authority of India, SAIL, being PSUs, do not get relief from this and SAIL employees are eligible for increase in DA every quarter.  It is known that usually the Central Government decides to increase the Consumer Price Index CPI keeping in mind.  If we include both officers and lower class employees, then SAIL employs about 1,00,000 employees.
